Zinnia (Zinnia Elegans Lilliput Orange) – Zinnias are one of the easiest annual flowers to grow and establish from flower seeds, and once established, they are just as easy to maintain. This orange Zinnia Lilliput will produce lots of lovely 1 – 1 1/2 inch ball-shaped blooms. Lilliput Zinnias look beautiful in fresh cut flower arrangements, and the more you cut, the more they produce! When cutting Zinnias for arrangements, remove the foliage as it does not keep well. How to Grow Zinnia Lilliput: For the earliest blooms, sow Zinnia Lilliput seeds indoors 4 – 6 weeks before planting out. Using starter trays or small pots, press the Zinnia seeds into the soil and lightly cover with peat moss or sand. Keep soil slightly moist but not wet until germination occurs. Don’t transplant the Zinnia Lilliput seedlings too soon. Harden them off for 10 days or so as they are sensitive to cold
