(Cucurbita maxima) (aka Triangle, Tristar, Shamrock) A rare and unique three-lobed blue squash from Australia where it was listed as early as 1918. Exported to the United States in 1932 by Arthur Yates & Co. of Sydney. Dense sugary flesh holds its flavor for a remarkably long time. Late maturity, long postharvest storage life. 110-120 days.
Sow seeds outdoors in 12″ diameter hills after danger of frost has passed. Hills should be spaced 6′ apart in all directions. Can also be started indoors 3 weeks before transplanting out.
