A phenomenal upper Midwest heirloom introduced in 1937 by the Robert Buist Company of Philadelphia. Reliably produces heavy yields of 4-8 pound ribbed and netted cantaloupes. When you think of the big melons with great taste, this is thestandard that all others should be judged by. Our strain is excellent, the best available. Originally grown for the Milwaukee markets in the 1920âs. 90-100 days.
