This uncommon perennial species has orange daisy like flowers with yellow centers. The flowers are nearly 2 inches wide, but the plants have a dwarf spreading habit and the flowering stems growing 7 to 12 inches tall. Blooms May into June. Grow in full sun to part shaded. A nice and different addition for borders and rock gardens. Will bloom the first year if started early.

Sow Erigeron seeds indoors 4 – 6 weeks before last frost. Use sterile starter mix and sow the flower seeds onto the mix. Do not cover the seeds because they do need light for germination. Transplant seedlings when temperature are warmed up. For directly sowing Erigeron flower seeds outdoors, wait until frost danger has passed and directly spread flower seeds onto prepared beds. Keep the Fleabane Daisy seeds moist but do not cover them.
