Foxglove Seeds – Yellow
Blooms in early- and midsummer.
Bright 2- to 3-foot spikes of color!
Foxglove (Digitalis Ambiqua Temple Bells Yellow) – Many Foxgloves are short-lived biennials, but this is the true perennial species. Like other Foxglove varieties, it also is grown easily from Foxglove seeds, and it gives plenty of colorful blooms. This perennial yellow Foxglove will return for many years gracing the garden or flower border with its elegance. In early summer, abundant buds form on the upper three-fourths of these dwarf 18 inch spikes, and each stalk remains colorful for several weeks. The blooms are a lovely shade of pale yellow with attractive brown highlights at the throat opening. Foxglove flowers are wonderful for cutting as well!
Foxglove is easy to grow from flower seeds. Situate it in full sun for northern climates and partial shade for southern climates. Grow Foxglove Temple Bells in rich, moist soil to put on a fine show. This Foxglove plant is perfect for borders, beds, and open woodland gardens. Sow Foxglove flower seeds outdoors, directly into prepared soil in the spring after danger of frost has passed. Space the Foxglove plants about 12 – 15 inches apart.
