White with dark pink tips. Spiky Cactus Dahlias are ideal for borders and produce masses of flowers which are perfect fro cutting.
Plant in spring, after the ground warms to about 50º F.
Easy to grow
1. Dig a hole 3-4″ deep.
2. Set the tuberous root firmly in place.
3. Cover the tuberous root with soil and water thoroughly.
Planting instructions: Plant Dahlias in well-drained soil in a sunny location. Supply ample moisture and fertilizer during the growing season. Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
