Easy to grow in full sun, it is not picky about soil type provided the drainage is adequate. Plants are superb for the border or bed, and indispensible for the cutting garden!

How To Grow Statice From Seed: Sow Statice seeds indoors 6 – 8 weeks before frost season ends. Press the Limonium seeds into the soil and lightly sprinkle with peat moss. The flower seeds must be kept moist but not wet until germination occurs. Or, you can directly sow Statice flower seeds into prepared seed beds after all danger of frost has passed. Sow the seeds in groups of 3 – 4 spaced 16 – 20 inches apart. Thin to the strongest plant. Once established, Statice plants are fairly drought tolerant. They thrive in a hot, sunny location.
