This is Chinese medicinal plant (which belongs to Aster family) used to cure of rheumatism. The variety rich in kirenol (active compound). Lovely annual herb with exotic apperance to 1,7m (6ft) high. Seeds can be sown outside (immediately in garden) in mid spring. Sow the seeds surface or cover them thinly. Plants are in flowers in autumn (in October) and then should be cutted and dried.
Rapidly germinating, keep seed in constant moisture (not wet) with temperatures of about +20°C [68°F]. Seeds must be covered thinly. Do not cover very small seeds, but tightly press into the earth. Keep in cooler conditions after germination occurs.
